Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise clients to understand business objectives, application portfolios, infrastructure environments, technology strategies, and transformation priorities.
- Design and architect enterprise-scale cloud solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native technologies.
- Lead strategic discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution discussions with executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive cloud modernization and transformation roadmaps aligned with business outcomes, technology priorities, and investment strategies.
- Guide clients through complex cloud migration, application modernization, DevOps adoption, infrastructure transformation, and cloud-native initiatives.
- Ensure proposed architectures are secure, scalable, resilient, highly available, governable, and optimized for long-term operational and business success.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior IT executives and technology decision-makers, influencing architecture and transformation decisions.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution positioning, RFP responses, technical proposals, and customer presentations.
- Mentor architects and contribute expertise to the continued development of cloud architecture practices, standards, and capabilities.
- Monitor emerging cloud technologies, market developments, architectural patterns, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Contribute to the growth of a cloud center of excellence by sharing knowledge, developing reusable approaches, and promoting architectural excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, enterprise infrastructure, application modernization, technical consulting, or a related discipline.
- Current professional cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated success leading complex cloud transformation, migration, modernization, or infrastructure initiatives at enterprise scale.
- Extensive experience in customer-facing and consultative technology roles, with a proven ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with senior IT executives and business leaders.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, automation, governance, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and governance, DevOps and CI/CD, Kubernetes and container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with one or more of the following is highly valued: serverless computing, API management, disaster recovery and business continuity, data and AI platforms, enterprise networking, and cloud connectivity.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Chef, or Puppet is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to balance technical requirements, business priorities, security considerations, and long-term scalability.
- Ability to mentor technical professionals and contribute effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship or transfer is not available for this position.
Conditions
- Annual salary range of $138,000 to $179,670, depending on qualifications and other applicable factors.
