Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Linux servers in public cloud environments and operate distributed database systems (ScyllaDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch)
Continuously monitor system and database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning measures
Diagnose and resolve complex issues within distributed databases, Linux servers, and cloud infrastructure
Automate with Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Ansible
Work with cross-functional teams to optimize, scale, and evolve infrastructure and database systems
Provide expert guidance to colleagues and customers on database best practices and scalable architecture patterns
Conditions
Onsite in Mannheim, typically five days a week in the office, with flexibility to work from home
