Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of technical B2B SaaS customers across the full account lifecycle, including onboarding, adoption, value realization, renewal, and expansion.
- Build trusted relationships with CTOs, CPOs, VPs of Engineering, product and engineering leaders, finance teams, procurement stakeholders, and other decision-makers.
- Develop strategic account plans that align customer objectives, integration strategies, adoption milestones, business outcomes, stakeholder relationships, and commercial priorities.
- Lead renewal and expansion opportunities from strategy and forecasting through negotiation, contracting, and commercial close.
- Maintain accurate revenue forecasts while proactively identifying renewal risks, competitive threats, organizational changes, adoption gaps, and other factors that could impact revenue.
- Translate technical capabilities such as APIs, webhooks, integration workflows, embedded experiences, and developer tooling into compelling business value.
- Lead executive business reviews, strategic account meetings, value discussions, and mutual action plans to strengthen customer engagement and drive measurable outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to expand product adoption across additional teams, use cases, integrations, products, tenants, and embedded capabilities.
- Collaborate with Technical Account Managers, Technical Support Engineers, Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to resolve escalations and deliver customer outcomes.
- Act as the voice of the customer by synthesizing feedback, business requirements, and product gaps into actionable recommendations for internal teams.
- Develop and improve scalable account-management processes, playbooks, and operating rhythms.
- Manage performance against customer-focused metrics including gross revenue retention, net revenue retention, product adoption, expansion, and upsell.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, technical sales, consulting, or a related customer-facing role within a technical B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven experience owning revenue across a customer portfolio, including renewals, expansion, forecasting, negotiation, and commercial close.
- Experience working with technical software products and engaging product, engineering, architecture, IT, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to engineers, executives, and less-technical audiences.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect product adoption and customer outcomes to measurable value, ROI, and strategic priorities.
- Demonstrated success managing complex accounts involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and lengthy sales or renewal cycles.
- Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, written communication, verbal communication, and executive engagement skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, tenacious, and comfortable working independently in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Willingness to develop knowledge of APIs, authentication, webhooks, data formats, integration architecture, and developer and low-code technologies.
- Comfortable working with customers across U.S. and international time zones.
- Experience with embedded software, iPaaS, APIs, integration platforms, automation, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or workflow products is a plus.
- Familiarity with REST or GraphQL APIs, OAuth, webhooks, JSON, and integration architecture is advantageous.
- Willing and able to work Eastern Time (UTC-4) hours.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

- Annual pay range of $120,000–$140,000 USD, plus variable compensation and equity.
