Esri is a global leader in geographic information system (GIS) software and location intelligence. This role sits within the Corporate Accounting department at the Redlands, CA campus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple teams and departments to propose, design, and guide the implementation of new reporting solutions
- Develop wireframes and document workflow processes to support the design and development of reporting solutions
- Research new datasets and combine information from multiple sources; conduct data gap analysis
- Perform DAX queries and functions, data modelling, basic M (Power Query Editor) capabilities, and basic SQL querying
- Partner with Finance and Accounting to design, develop, test, and implement automated dashboards and reports
- Support continuous process improvement in reporting initiatives
- Support various accounting and reporting analyses and technical accounting research
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar Analyst position
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into a technical format for Data Developers
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented to ensure data accuracy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US (no visa sponsorship)
