Responsibilities

• Improve CI/CD pipelines: analyze existing deployment pipelines and adapt workflows for reliable, repeatable delivery.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code modules in line with existing repository patterns.
• Apply data governance standards: naming conventions, access controls, retention policies.
• Build self-service platform tooling with a reusable template repository.
• Create reusable modules to simplify pipeline creation.
• Improve technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
• Own data access workflows and access-request processes.
• Take ownership of platform tooling, including technical direction and roadmap.
• Collaborate across data engineering, backend, and infrastructure teams.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly, validating generated code.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience independently owning a deployment path end to end.
• ~2+ years of professional experience in software, data, platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Practical working knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and troubleshoot.
• Experience with Docker and familiarity with AWS.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor.
• Strong ownership, communication, and reasoning skills.

Conditions

• Annual compensation €33,000–€43,000.
