About the company
- Position listed on behalf of a partner company managing applications
- Aerospace and high-assurance environments
Responsibilities
- Support DO-178C and DO-254 certification activities from SOI-1 through SOI-4
- Prepare, review, and refine certification documentation (PSAC, SDP, SVP, SCMP)
- Conduct SQA audits and compliance checks, track corrective actions
- Coordinate certification activities and maintain evidence packages
- Participate in configuration management and change control (CCB)
- Support requirements traceability (SLR, HLR, LLR, testing)
- Contribute to safety-related verification activities
- Improve internal SQA processes, templates, tools, workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Software, Systems, Electrical, or related)
- 2–5+ years in hardware/software/systems engineering or related
- At least 2 years in software quality assurance
- Understanding of software/hardware development life cycles and documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exposure to DO-178C, DO-254, ISO 26262, or IEC 61508 is an advantage
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence beneficial
- Understanding of embedded systems, operating systems, hypervisors is an asset
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or safety-critical industries preferred
Conditions
- Annual salary CAD $90,000–$110,000
