Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and optimize targeted, multi-channel demand generation campaigns that generate qualified MQLs, expand relevant contact databases, and create sales pipeline.
- Develop campaign messaging, segmentation, keywords, and channel strategies while continuously optimizing performance and ROI.
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of the vendor landscape, buyer needs, behaviors, and trends across state, local government, and education markets.
- Develop Ideal Customer Profiles, buyer personas, competitive intelligence, and market insights.
- Create and regularly update strategic go-to-market plans for events.
- Define differentiated positioning and messaging for events and sponsorship packages.
- Develop compelling narratives and channel-specific content for websites, email campaigns, social media, paid media, landing pages, sales materials, media kits, brochures, case studies, blog posts, and other marketing assets.
- Collaborate with Design, Product, Content, Editorial, and external partners to produce engaging customer-facing and video content.
- Partner with Sales Enablement and Product teams to develop pitch decks, objection-handling resources, email templates, case studies, datasheets, sales playbooks, and other enablement materials.
- Support sales training and internal communications.
- Coordinate marketing and internal launches for new or enhanced offerings.
- Work closely with Sales, Events, Delivery, and Customer Success teams.
- Establish and monitor campaign KPIs, analyze performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Maintain campaign calendars, project documentation, and marketing workflows using tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Asana, and Microsoft Teams.
- Track key metrics including MQL volume and quality, email engagement, social performance, cost per lead, website traffic, conversion rates, revenue generated from MQLs, and database growth.
- Research and apply emerging marketing automation, SEO, generative AI, and marketing technology practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of overall marketing experience, preferably within B2B services, media, technology, or a related environment.
- 2+ years of event marketing experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, product or solution positioning, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy.
- Experience using marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
- AI-forward mindset with practical familiarity with foundational AI and marketing-specific AI tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strategic, analytical, and data-driven approach.
- Understanding of state and local government and/or education markets is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, or Premiere is preferred but not required.
- Passion for generating measurable marketing impact.
- Comfortable collaborating across sales, product, events, content, editorial, and leadership teams.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection capable of supporting uninterrupted video meetings.
Conditions
- Annual salary range of $70,000–$80,000.
