Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure smooth deployments and high system availability.
- Handle routine maintenance, upgrades, backup and recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents to ensure system reliability and availability.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Linux system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Broad practical understanding of security across systems and ability to quickly grasp how new technologies work.
- Experience managing on-premise, hybrid, bare-metal, and cloud infrastructure.
- Team player; highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail; proactive and able to self-learn; calm under pressure and focused on finding solutions.
- Nice to have: experience managing self-hosted Kubernetes; ability to write or improve scripts in Python, Groovy, Ruby, Go, or Bash.
- Technology stack: Kubernetes, ClickHouse, Cassandra, Pulsar, ZooKeeper, Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, OpenSearch, Kafka, Druid, NGINX, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, SES, and Route 53.
