  • Deep understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes (CNC machining, surface treatments, and assembly) and inspection/verification methodologies, with a focus on dimensional conformity, workmanship, and product reliability
  • Experience with non-conformance (NC) management, root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.), and CAPA implementation in mechanical manufacturing environments
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, GD&T requirements, 3D CAD models, specifications, material standards, and manufacturing process documentation
  • Strong focus on traceability, configuration control, and engineering change management for mission-critical mechanical hardware and assemblies
  • Data-driven approach to analyzing supplier performance, quality metrics, inspection results, and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across suppliers and internal teams
