Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain the Bastille Networks WIDS platform and sensor arrays across data center facilities, offices, and PoP sites
- Architect and implement integration of Bastille wireless detection telemetry into the Genetec Security Center ecosystem
- Deploy and tune Bastille RF spectrum monitoring to detect rogue access points, rogue cell towers, unauthorized wireless devices, Bluetooth/BLE and IoT threats
- Conduct RF site surveys and design sensor placement and coverage plans
- Support configuration and hardening of Bastille sensors, concentrators, and server/cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain WIDS documentation, including sensor placement plans, RF coverage/heat maps, and integration architecture diagrams
- Establish alerting and escalation workflows for GSOC operators
- Perform technical root cause analysis for false positives and detection failures
- Collaborate with network, IT security, and SOC teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Physical Security Engineering, Network Engineering, wireless/RF security, or related
- Hands-on experience with WIDS and RF spectrum monitoring platforms; Bastille Networks strongly preferred
- Advanced expertise in Genetec Security Center platform, including API/SDK integrations
- Strong understanding of wireless protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth/BLE, Zigbee, cellular) and RF fundamentals
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs) and SQL databases
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related
- Preferred certifications: GSEC, Security+, Network+, CCNA, CWNA/CWSP
