Responsibilities
- Design Kubernetes architectures for complex customers
- Troubleshoot problems across the API server, etcd, scheduler, kubelet, container runtime, CNI, network, and storage across clusters with thousands of GPU nodes
- Identify product gaps for real workloads and help engineering teams fill them
- Lead customer technical overviews, proofs of concept, and workshops, with occasional travel
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years building or operating large-scale distributed systems
- Written and run Kubernetes operators or controllers in production in Go or Rust using CRDs
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals: API server, etcd, scheduler, controllers
- Knowledge of admission control and policy (webhooks, Kyverno), RBAC, ServiceAccounts
- Hands-on experience with Helm, GitOps (Argo CD or Flux), observability with Prometheus and OpenTelemetry
- Strong communication skills
Conditions
- Base salary range $182,000 – $242,000
