Our partner is looking for a Senior Director Marketing - Oncology based in Canada. This senior marketing leader will shape and execute the US and Canada growth strategy for an oncology portfolio within a complex healthcare technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the US and Canada growth strategy for the oncology portfolio, translating business priorities and market opportunities into actionable marketing plans.
- Develop annual marketing strategies and integrated marketing plans in collaboration with marketing colleagues and product management teams.
- Drive demand generation through customer-focused content and coordinated channel strategies spanning digital marketing, SEM, email, social media, inside sales, events, and other relevant channels.
- Build deep understanding of customer, staff, patient, and clinical needs and translate those insights into differentiated campaigns and value propositions.
- Adapt and develop marketing materials for regional audiences, ensuring messaging resonates with key healthcare decision-makers.
- Collaborate on the design and execution of high-impact global and regional trade shows, events, and customer experiences.
- Partner closely with commercial teams on strategic initiatives, targeted market plays, and portfolio commercialization.
- Establish, monitor, and optimize marketing KPIs using a lean, outcomes-focused approach to continuously improve business impact.
- Equip commercial teams with oncology value propositions, competitive intelligence, market insights, and effective messaging.
- Drive innovation across portfolio marketing by identifying new approaches and turning collaborative ideas into measurable execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or product management, ideally within healthcare, medical technology, or technology-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing positioning, digital marketing, and go-to-market strategies that deliver measurable customer and business results.
- Strong track record of creating customer-centric value propositions, compelling content, and effective commercialization strategies.
- Meaningful exposure to imaging technology and/or nuclear medicine within the medical technology sector is preferred.
- Strong expertise in market insights, customer understanding, portfolio marketing, and brand development.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-moving, and highly dynamic environments.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and leadership communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects, analyze and resolve complex problems, document and execute marketing initiatives, and apply strong project management skills.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA in Marketing or a related discipline is preferred.
- Innovative, collaborative, and commercially minded approach, with the ability to co-create new ideas and translate them into high-impact marketing execution.
- Strong commitment to integrity, transparency, accountability, trust, and ownership.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Residence near Milwaukee or Chicago may be preferred.

- Competitive annual compensation: $177,600–$266,400 for U.S.-based positions, with actual offers determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
