Responsibilities
- Design and build responsive front-end interfaces and scalable back-end services and APIs
- Leverage AWS services (EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, EBS, CloudWatch) to manage application infrastructure
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, and containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Helm
- Design, deploy, and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Aurora)
- Write and maintain Python (and PowerShell/Perl) scripts for automation
- Use Ansible for configuration management
- Implement monitoring and logging (CloudWatch)
- Apply networking and security knowledge (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, SSL)
- Collaborate with development, product support, and operations teams
- Ensure security compliance
Requirements
- 3+ years total experience, with 1+ years hands-on development in Python (or JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Perl)
- Proven experience building full stack web applications with front-end frameworks and back-end services/RESTful APIs
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and best practices
- Experience managing AWS infrastructure with Terraform
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
- Application deployment and configuration management using Ansible
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and AWS RDS
