Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain core system infrastructure and low-level software components
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Work with JVM internals, memory management, concurrency, distributed systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on technical strategy
- Mentor junior engineers
- Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions
- Troubleshoot complex system issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in CS, EE or related field
- 7+ years professional software development experience
- Deep understanding of JVM internals: GC, JIT, class loading, memory model
- Proficiency in a JVM language
- Strong skills in Scala/Java/Rust or systems-level languages
- Experience with OS concepts: processes, threads, concurrency, scheduling, I/O
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with performance profiling and tuning tools
- Experience with RPC frameworks (nice to have)
