Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities by gathering, documenting, and analyzing functional and technical requirements and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand business processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide advanced functional expertise across JDE Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Management.
- Provide functional expertise across JDE Distribution modules, including Inventory, Sales Order Management, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management.
- Configure, optimize, and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions in accordance with business requirements and established best practices.
- Support integrations between JDE and other enterprise applications, helping ensure reliable data flows across business functions.
- Use SQL queries and knowledge of EnterpriseOne tables to investigate issues, analyze data, and support business and technical requirements.
- Support EnterpriseOne security, User Defined Objects (UDOs), configurations, and related administrative activities.
- Provide expertise or working exposure to JDE Orchestrator and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, development, testing, implementation, and deployment of JDE enhancements.
- Create functional specifications, designs, test cases, process documentation, and other implementation materials.
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), resolve issues, and provide post-implementation assistance.
- Serve as a primary functional resource for business users, providing troubleshooting, guidance, and ongoing support.
- Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation to promote effective adoption and use of JDE functionality.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve system performance, enhance user experience, and increase operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about JDE updates, capabilities, and industry practices and recommend appropriate upgrades and enhancements.
- Travel approximately 15% within the continental United States and Canada as business needs require.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required; candidates requiring employment authorization through an EAD, visa, or other non-citizen work authorization are not eligible.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred; relevant JDE or business analysis certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role with a strong focus on JD Edwards.
- Demonstrated experience with JDE EnterpriseOne, particularly across both Finance and Distribution modules.
- Strong functional knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Supply Chain Management.
- Proven experience supporting full-cycle JDE implementations and upgrades, including requirements, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Hands-on experience with JDE configuration, testing, deployment, and functional troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with JDE development and administration tools, including Form Design Workbench (FDW), Table Workbench (TWB), and Universal Batch Engines (UBEs).
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to work with EnterpriseOne tables and business data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other reporting or analytical tools.
- Experience with ReportsNow is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of JDE security, UDOs, configurations, Orchestrator, and mobile applications is strongly valued.
- Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise IT integration, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
