Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into a technical strategy with measurable outcomes, aligned with global company strategy
• Identify and propose architectural and technical improvements across product and platform using data and trade-off analysis
• Advocate, present, and defend technical solutions at organizational level with Product, Data, Security, SRE stakeholders
• Lead technical research and implementation to create or improve services and systems
• Write clean, effective, maintainable code; improve company-wide code and review standards
• Own and improve the Android development lifecycle
• Mentor engineers, run 1:1s, support growth and productivity
• Create knowledge-sharing processes and increase re-use of best practices
• Lead task decomposition and contribute to engineering guidelines

Requirements

• Hands-on Android engineering experience combined with leadership
• Ability to define technical direction and ensure solution quality
• Experience with architecture and technical strategy
