About the company

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Project Management - CBX based in United States.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall project management function across new developments, acquisitions, takeovers, conversions, managed Wi-Fi, low-voltage, and technology infrastructure projects.
  • Establish and enforce project delivery standards covering scope, schedules, milestones, ownership, budgets, vendor requirements, risk controls, communication cadences, and closeout criteria.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and hold Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and other project team members accountable for delivery, performance, and professional development.
  • Exercise independent judgment to prioritize competing projects, evaluate risks, resolve complex issues, determine escalation requirements, and make decisions that balance customer, operational, financial, and business objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end connectivity implementations, including wireless design coordination, low-voltage planning, ISP readiness, fiber delivery, hardware procurement, installation sequencing, site readiness, testing, quality control, and customer handoff.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, accounting, FP&A, procurement, development, construction, asset management, and customer-facing teams to align technical, financial, operational, and customer requirements.
  • Oversee project financial controls, including job costing, budget tracking, purchase order readiness, invoice support, cost variance analysis, reforecasting, revenue coordination, and margin awareness.
  • Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, ISPs, low-voltage providers, and other partners to ensure project readiness, appropriate resources, equipment availability, and successful delivery.
  • Develop scalable project management systems, tools, templates, reporting practices, documentation standards, meeting rhythms, and operating procedures.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with executives, customers, vendors, property stakeholders, project teams, and cross-functional partners regarding project status, risks, decisions, and next steps.
  • Proactively identify scope gaps, design conflicts, procurement delays, vendor performance issues, construction dependencies, quality concerns, budget impacts, and operational handoff risks, developing mitigation and escalation plans as needed.
  • Oversee wireless design coordination and low-voltage quality control, ensuring teams have the technical information, documentation, standards, and stakeholder alignment required for successful implementation.
  • Drive consistent project closeout, including final documentation, punch-list completion, testing results, customer handoff materials, support transition details, lessons learned, and internal records.
  • Develop and monitor project KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and post-project reviews to improve forecasting, accountability, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, property teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and support scalable growth.
  • Partner with leadership on project management priorities, growth strategy, customer commitments, profitability objectives, operational capacity, and long-term business planning.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce delivery friction, strengthen quality control, standardize workflows, and improve project transparency and customer experience.
  • Support contracting, scope review, budgeting, and pre-project planning by providing delivery expertise, risk assessments, and operational recommendations.
  • Represent the project management function in executive meetings, customer discussions, vendor negotiations, project escalations, and other high-priority stakeholder engagements.
  • Travel as needed for project planning, vendor coordination, site readiness, installation oversight, customer meetings, quality control, escalations, and project closeout.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, construction management, technology implementation, managed services, telecommunications, low-voltage infrastructure, infrastructure deployment, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including managing, coaching, developing, and holding project management professionals accountable for performance and delivery.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-site or multi-stakeholder projects from planning through closeout.
