Business Systems Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Systems Analyst, Anaplan based in India.

• Design, build, and deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable Anaplan solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise planning requirements.
• Collaborate directly with business users and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, develop user stories, assess priorities, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to projects involving new Anaplan functionalities, enhancements to existing models, and optimization of enterprise planning applications.
• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to validate business requirements and demonstrate solution feasibility.
• Apply The Anaplan Way methodology throughout requirements gathering, solution design, model development, testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, documentation, and project closure.
• Develop and maintain effective model architectures, formulas, business logic, and model-to-model integrations to support connected planning.
• Work with technical teams to implement, maintain, and automate inbound and outbound data interfaces.
• Promote adherence to Anaplan model-building best practices, application lifecycle management standards, and development guidelines.
• Manage assigned project activities, coordinate timelines and priorities with business and IT teams, and support successful implementation and user adoption.
• Identify opportunities to enhance planning processes, improve application performance, and strengthen solution scalability.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in planning, solution development, business systems analysis, or consulting, with hands-on expertise in enterprise performance management or demand planning solutions.
• Anaplan Model Builder Level 3 certification is required. Certified Master Anaplanner (CMA) and/or Certified Anaplan Solution Architect Professional credentials are preferred.
• Demonstrated experience applying The Anaplan Way methodology across the full project lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Anaplan model architecture, formulas, business logic, model-to-model integrations, and Connected Planning principles.
• Hands-on experience with Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO), Workflow, CoModeler, and Optimizer.
• Proven ability to interpret complex business needs and transform them into scalable, enterprise-level Anaplan solutions.
• Experience with enterprise performance management, demand planning, or supply chain planning is important. Supply chain planning experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with semiconductor or high-tech industry demand and supply chain planning processes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP), SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW), or other enterprise planning platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex planning challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
