Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of CareFirstBridge and FEP claims processing functionality.
• Develop, document, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate claims processing functionality across software releases, system enhancements, and configuration changes.
• Verify system results against defined healthcare claims workflows, business rules, and expected outcomes.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and retesting.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Support release testing activities.
• Maintain thorough testing documentation and provide clear reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in testing practices within an Agile delivery environment.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with CareFirstBridge and FEP claims processing.
• Solid experience performing functional and end-to-end testing within healthcare claims environments.
• Strong understanding of healthcare claims workflows, claims lifecycle processes, and applicable business rules.
• Experience developing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test scenarios.
• Proven ability to perform software release, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience identifying, documenting, managing, and validating defects through resolution.
• Familiarity with healthcare payer systems and claims processing technologies.
• Experience working with defect management and testing tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business, development, and QA teams.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and frameworks is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
