Teserac is building Neuron™, an AI-native observability and automation platform for data center power operations. The platform detects anomalies, correlates events, and recommends next steps for operators.
Responsibilities
- Build operator-facing features in React and TypeScript: real-time dashboards, alerting, alarm and ticket workflows, capacity planning views, power-flow visualizations
- Build interfaces for the AI teammate: interaction panels, recommendation displays, approval workflows, audit trails
- Keep large, data-dense views fast and responsive across devices
- Build and maintain the ingestion path: edge collectors, MQTT over AWS IoT Core, queue-based workers, normalization into a canonical metric model
- Write integration modules against Siemens Desigo, Schneider PME and EcoStruxure, Niagara, Eaton, and generic BACnet, Modbus, SNMP sources
- Own correctness of ingested data: point mapping, unit and phase semantics, deduplication, backfill
- Develop against PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB: hypertables, continuous aggregates, compression, retention
- Design schema and migrations safe for tables growing into billions of rows
- Write tested, reviewed code, contribute to CI/CD and automated testing
- Troubleshoot production issues across the stack and share on-call
Requirements
- 7+ years building and shipping production software across the stack
- Strong Python, ideally Django; backend is Django and Celery
- Strong PostgreSQL: schema design, query performance, migrations on live production databases
- Practical time-series experience; TimescaleDB ideal
- Solid React and TypeScript
- Experience with asynchronous and event-driven systems: task queues, pub/sub, streaming, WebSockets
- Comfortable on AWS: ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, IoT Core
- Ability to work independently and define own scope
