Responsibilities
- Become a contributing member in the failure analysis of our Sandisk products to increase customer satisfaction.
- Perform failure analysis on Sandisk products while interacting with many engineering groups such as NAND, firmware, systems, ASIC, etc.
- Evaluate the electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems, integrated circuits, components, and sub-components to determine the cause of failure including the verification of analog and digital performance.
- Analyze failure reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will enhance the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures.
- Manage lab activities and establish cooperative interaction with other teams within the factory.
Requirements
- Experience with scripting languages including developing scripts from scratch.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience of NAND product system architecture, including NAND flash sub-system and power control circuitry a plus.
- Able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and teamwork skills.
- BS degree in EE/CE/CS or related field required; MS degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in NAND based systems.
- Experience with SSDs, storage systems, embedded systems, servers, consumer electronics, or semiconductor products.
- Experience troubleshooting failures across hardware, firmware, software, and system interactions.
