Responsibilities

• Run the OpEx close cadence: month-end close, accruals, reclasses, headcount reconciliation, high-volume PO/Workday approvals, and T&E
• Build automation: replace manual reporting with automated workflows and dashboards, apply AI across close, planning, reporting, and approvals
• Partner with Engineering as finance business partner, helping them understand and plan spend and headcount
• Work with People & Talent, Business Operations, Customer Support, and QA to gather budget inputs and explain OpEx variances
• Connect steps across finance so the process gets simpler over time
• Maintain revenue/cost and workforce-planning models

Requirements

• 2–5 years of finance/analytical experience, ideally in FP&A or finance at a brand-name technology or high-growth company
• Automation habit — experience automating manual reporting or finance processes; interest in applying AI to real work
• Experience with BigQuery, SQL, Python, or AI tools is a big plus
• Operational reliability and detail-accurate delivery on recurring, high-volume work
• Clear communication — able to explain numbers and variances to non-finance partners
• Located in, or willing to relocate to, the Los Angeles metro, working on-site/hybrid
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
• Hands-on FP&A foundation: planning, forecasting, variance analysis, close/reporting cadence

Nice to have

• Undergraduate degree in engineering
• Something you've built — an automation or tool
• Experience with Oracle and Workday / Workday Adaptive Planning
• Data platforms such as BigQuery
• Genuine interest in games, consumer products, or technology-driven businesses
