Responsibilities
- Confidently articulate the business and technical value of Neo4j to customers and prospects as a key technical advisor
- Actively drive and run the technology evaluation stage of the sales cycles
- Manage day-to-day activities such as opportunity qualification, technical discovery, presentations, platform and use case demonstrations, proof of value, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria
- Build and nurture rapport with customer stakeholders at all levels
- Co-create reference and solution architectures with customers, including integrating Neo4j with existing architecture and applications within a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or on-premise environment
- Stay current on latest Neo4j capabilities
- Distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales
- Help drive demand through participation in account-based marketing events and industry conferences
- Travel as needed to assist in deal creation and closure
Requirements
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience (Sales/Presales/Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, etc)
- Experience working with data technologies in enterprise data architecture, data analytics, data science or cloud data architecture
- Familiarity with graph data technology; working knowledge of Neo4j is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with relational (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in at least one of: Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, C#
- Track record in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions in public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or on-premise
- Ability to engage and communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to prioritize, pivot, and problem-solve
