Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of all WDP System software by developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Coordinate with the government to validate that testing is sufficient to meet all requirements.
- Conduct various levels of testing, including unit, integration, and system testing across multiple environments.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Validate that software meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create detailed test reports and metrics to communicate test results.
- Participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize issues.
- Verify bug fixes through confirmation testing.
- Establish and maintain test environments.
- Develop and maintain test data sets.
- Collaborate with developers to improve testability of code.
- Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the testing process.
- Stay current with testing tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- SECRET Security Clearance Required.
- Multiple levels: Junior (0-3 years + Bachelor's Degree), Journeyman (4-7 years + Bachelor's Degree), Senior (8+ years + Bachelor's Degree).
- Good communication skills, self-starter mindset.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

Conditions
- Work Environment: Moderate noise (business office with computers, phone and printers) and/or occasional loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

- Salary at Avalore is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
- Salary estimates for this job range from $99,000 - $174,000.
