Network Security Engineer

• Establish security standards for operational technology networks and connected devices, including network segmentation, host isolation, network traversal controls, and remote connectivity
• Provide solutions to complex security issues and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Create an inventory and risk register as a baseline for near-term and long-term objectives
• Partner with production engineering and business development teams on risk reduction and risk avoidance
• Execute and partner on penetration testing to evaluate effectiveness of existing controls
• Coordinate with third parties and internal teams to address vulnerabilities via mitigation, isolation, or other strategies
• Research industry risks and drive change in operational networks
• Develop and test recovery models and response playbooks for compromise scenarios
• Present technical security information to technical and non-technical audiences; maintain documentation

• 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure security (firewalls, ACLs, architecture, risk management) in a global network environment
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Go, Python, C/C++) for automation, code reviews, and tooling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; CISSP, CCNP, PCNSE advantageous
• Experience with operational technology networks (industrial systems, building management systems, power, physical security, remote access, HVAC)
• Strong knowledge of network firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and defense in depth
• Excellent written and verbal communication and technical documentation abilities
• Preferred: experience with OT networks spanning global locations, network automation, agentic network tooling, incident response automation
