ArcGIS Enterprise is the backbone of Esri's customers' mission-critical operations, powering organizations around the world in the cloud and on-premises. The ArcGIS Enterprise team is seeking a Sr. Cloud Automation Engineer to partner closely with software developers and product engineers.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve the quality, scalability, and performance of Esri's cloud and Kubernetes automation technology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation aligns with customer needs, usability standards, and deployment best practices
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize user requirements, turning them into actionable development and testing plans
- Design and refine user experiences for automation tools
- Document and communicate the proper use of Esri's cloud automation technology
- Stay current on emerging cloud and containerization trends
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, or automating solutions in AWS and/or Azure
- Proven experience with infrastructure automation, including architecting and maintaining automated deployments for cloud-native and containerized applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot distributed systems, APIs, and deployment pipelines
- Proficiency in scripting or configuration management tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field

- Base salary range: $93,600 - $159,328 USD
