Automation Engineer

• Interface with external vendors and system integrators to design automated order fulfillment solutions (AMRs, Robotics, ASRS, sortation systems)
• Lead data analytic efforts for designing Automation and Material Handling Systems
• Analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights; create productivity dashboards
• Optimize Distribution Center layouts, material flows, and automation equipment
• Support business case justification for new technology and CapEx purchases
• Leverage GenAI to automate time-consuming tasks

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field
• 5+ years of engineering experience in multi-site industrial distribution, manufacturing, or processing
• 5+ years experience with SQL (Snowflake, MSSQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Grafana)
• Experience with simulation software (FlexSim) and MOST modeling
• Experience with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS/WES) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Ability to travel up to 25%, peaking at 50% during implementations

• Pay ranges: Colorado $131,600-$169,200; Texas $122,500-$157,500; Newark NJ $140,700-$180,900; Arizona $122,500-$157,500; Illinois $131,600-$169,200
