Lead the product strategy and evolution of a consumer travel eSIM offering designed for international travelers.
Responsibilities
- Product roadmap ownership: Own the travel eSIM roadmap end to end, aligning priorities with customer needs, market demand, competitive dynamics, and broader business objectives.
- Product development and lifecycle: Lead the design, development, launch, and continuous improvement of new travel eSIM plans and features throughout the complete product lifecycle.
- Market and competitive analysis: Conduct ongoing research into traveler needs, market trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and emerging opportunities to keep the product roadmap commercially relevant and differentiated.
- Purchase-to-activation experience: Own the complete customer journey from browsing and purchasing through QR code delivery, eSIM installation, activation, and first successful connection, identifying and resolving friction throughout the funnel.
- Product performance: Define and monitor the metrics that demonstrate product success, including conversion, activation, ARPU, repeat purchase, customer behavior, and margin by travel corridor.
- Catalog and pricing strategy: Manage the data-plan catalog and pricing strategy across corridors, balancing local connectivity costs, competitive pricing, customer value, and target margins.
- Connectivity partnerships: Collaborate with roaming and wholesale partners to manage coverage, capacity, connectivity costs, and commercial considerations that affect the customer experience and product economics.
- Agile delivery leadership: Serve as the roadmap stakeholder across multiple scrum teams, creating clear PRDs, communicating priorities, and driving alignment during sprint planning and delivery.
- Cross-functional launches: Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support to coordinate launches, measure post-launch performance, and continuously improve the product.
- Commercial enablement: Equip sales channels with relevant product and sales materials while supporting the onboarding of B2B customers and partners.
Requirements
- Consumer product management experience: 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager owning a consumer-facing product end to end, including areas such as pricing, purchase, activation, retention, and ongoing optimization.
- Technical product experience: Proven experience defining, building, and launching technically complex products, with the ability to work effectively across product and engineering disciplines.
- Agile collaboration: Strong experience collaborating with designers, engineers, QA professionals, and other cross-functional stakeholders in agile product development environments.
- Technical communication: Ability to facilitate technical discussions around products and features, challenge assumptions constructively, and provide informed feedback on technical designs and implementation approaches.
- eSIM knowledge: Working understanding of how eSIM technology functions and how it influences the customer journey, without requiring expert-level telecommunications engineering knowledge.
- Product analytics: Strong analytical fluency with tools such as Amplitude, Google Analytics, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms, with the ability to independently conduct funnel analysis and support A/B testing.
- Data-driven decision-making: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to use customer, product, and commercial data to guide product decisions.
- Business communication: Sharp and concise communication skills, including the ability to translate technical constraints, pricing considerations, or product trade-offs into clear business cases and recommendations.
- Travel eSIM experience: Direct experience working for or competing against a major player in the travel eSIM market is considered a strong advantage.
- Travel industry experience: Previous experience in travel-related businesses such as online travel agencies, airlines, hospitality, or broader travel-commerce environments is highly desirable.
