Our partner is looking for a Manager, Product Marketing based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to lead product marketing strategy for a portfolio of technology solutions within a fast-paced, global environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Marketing Managers, providing coaching, feedback, career development, performance management, and resource planning.
- Own go-to-market strategies for the assigned product portfolio, coordinating cross-functional teams to support successful launches, campaigns, adoption, and market growth.
- Guide the development of clear, differentiated, and compelling product positioning and messaging frameworks that effectively communicate product value.
- Partner with Product Marketing leadership to develop and execute the broader product marketing roadmap, aligning priorities with business objectives and establishing measurable team goals and KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure the marketing organization understands product capabilities, customer value, and upcoming releases.
- Build strong partnerships with Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of product marketing strategies.
- Lead the development of sales enablement programs, training, tools, and resources that equip sales teams with the knowledge needed to effectively position and sell products.
- Establish and improve scalable product marketing processes, standards, and ways of working to increase team effectiveness and consistency.
- Evaluate and manage third-party tools and platforms that enhance product marketing capabilities, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Guide the creation of high-impact product marketing assets, messaging, campaigns, and content designed to increase product awareness, adoption, and demand.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes, pipeline performance, lead-generation results, and other relevant data to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify opportunities to differentiate products and develop innovative campaigns and strategies that support sustainable growth.
- Represent product marketing in cross-functional leadership discussions and influence strategic decisions through customer, market, and commercial insights.
- Foster a culture of market expertise, collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the product marketing function.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience, ideally with significant experience in Product Marketing within a SaaS or technology environment.
- 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or people-management role, with a demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of product development, product marketing, go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and marketing principles.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes, and business data to develop effective strategies.
- Experience creating sales enablement tools, training programs, and customer-facing or sales-facing product materials.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable decisions.
- Deep understanding of customer needs, motivations, and pain points, with the ability to turn those insights into compelling product marketing strategies.
- Proven experience developing and optimizing product marketing processes, standards, frameworks, and operating models.
- Strong competitive intelligence and differentiation skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and strengthen product positioning.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, leadership, customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Innovative and creative mindset with the ability to develop differentiated marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Conditions
- Hiring base salary range of $120,000–$170,000 USD, with actual compensation determined by factors including skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location.
