AI Developer

Our partner is looking for an AI Developer based in Brazil. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on building production-ready AI solutions that generate measurable business value.

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-ready AI and machine learning solutions that address business needs.
• Translate business challenges into scalable AI-enabled applications, services, and enterprise workflows.
• Build and integrate Generative AI capabilities using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Develop document intelligence and document-to-data processing pipelines.
• Build clean, maintainable, well-tested Python applications using sound software engineering, object-oriented design, and scalable architecture practices.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, libraries, technical standards, and distributed cloud-native applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code practices for AI applications and supporting infrastructure.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage AI models and services in production, supporting model lifecycle management, performance, reliability, and observability.
• Manage containerized solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, leveraging Azure services to build scalable AI platforms.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and other observability capabilities.
• Establish testing, evaluation, and experimentation frameworks and measure AI solution effectiveness through technical and business metrics.
• Apply A/B testing and other evaluation approaches where appropriate, continuously optimizing solutions based on data, feedback, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in architecture and solution-design discussions, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support knowledge sharing and mentor team members while promoting accountability, trust, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong professional experience with Python development and software engineering best practices.
• Proven experience building and deploying AI or machine learning solutions into production environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, with Azure preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and MLOps practices, including model lifecycle management.
• Experience deploying and supporting scalable distributed systems and enterprise integrations through APIs.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, distributed systems, and engineering best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience working in Agile product development environments.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, Generative AI, or Document Intelligence is highly desirable.
• Experience designing enterprise AI platforms or architectures is a plus.
• Experience developing AI evaluation frameworks and experimentation methodologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, security, governance, and compliance practices is desirable.
• Azure certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience mentoring engineers or providing technical guidance is advantageous.
