Responsibilities
- Design and deploy robust security measures across the network perimeter and internal fabrics (firewalls, IPS/IDS, segmentation)
- Champion a Zero Trust security model across CoreWeave's network and cloud environments
- Establish robust monitoring for network security events and potential breaches across high-density AI cluster networks
- Work closely with Networking, Infrastructure, and Software Engineering teams to integrate security best practices
- Secure high-density GPU clusters and ultra-low latency backend fabrics
- Educate partners in other teams on network security principles and conduct security training sessions
- Help refine, implement, and enforce security policies and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- 3-7 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering, with exposure to large-scale cloud or hyperscaler environments
- Deep understanding of network security principles and technologies, including mitigating DDoS attacks, securing high-speed data center fabrics, and implementing zero trust methodologies
- Proficient in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, HTTP/S), network segmentation, VPNs, and firewall configurations
- Experience securing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure or custom hyperscale infrastructure) and containerized environments
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2)
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Go, or similar) for automating security tasks
