Responsibilities
- Build, mature, and govern the end-to-end Product Operations operating model, enabling product teams to prioritize effectively, execute efficiently, launch successfully, and measure business impact.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Client Success, Sales, and Support to establish frictionless product launch and go-to-market readiness processes.
- Oversee Product Knowledge strategy and execution, ensuring internal and external knowledge bases, technical documentation, release communications, and supporting materials remain accurate, accessible, and current.
- Ensure customer-facing and frontline teams receive the product knowledge, documentation, release notes, and operational training required ahead of new feature launches.
- Establish closed-loop Voice of Customer and Voice of Field feedback systems and translate insights into actionable input for Product Management prioritization.
- Standardize and improve the product delivery lifecycle from opportunity discovery through execution and launch.
- Maintain portfolio-wide visibility into product roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and status, aligning Product Management, Engineering, Design, and leadership.
- Own and optimize the product technology stack, including tools such as Notion, Pendo, Jira, Confluence, Gong, and related analytics and AI platforms.
- Champion AI-driven operational improvements that streamline workflows, automate repeatable activities, reduce manual effort, and increase consistency across teams.
- Define and monitor product health, feature adoption, and operational efficiency metrics to support data-informed decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of four Product Program Managers as well as the Product Knowledge team, establishing clear KPIs, resource allocation models, and career development paths.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex operational challenges and cross-functional roadblocks across product lines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, or Product Management within a fast-paced B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- 4+ years of direct people-management experience, with a demonstrated ability to develop and scale high-performing program management, technical communications, or documentation teams.
- Proven experience building or maturing a Product Operations function from an early or mid-stage organization to an enterprise-scale operating model.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate AI technologies into operational workflows to automate repeatable tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve organizational consistency.
- Experience managing product knowledge bases, technical documentation, technical writing, and structured release communication programs for internal and external audiences.
- Hands-on experience with product management, analytics, collaboration, and AI platforms such as Notion, Pendo, Claude Cowork, Jira, Confluence, and Gong.
- Exceptional ability to synthesize quantitative data and qualitative feedback into practical operational strategies and decisions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, Client Success, and Support without relying on direct authority.
- Strong organizational judgment and the ability to navigate ambiguity, establish clarity, and scale processes within a dynamic, matrixed environment.
- Strategic thinker who can balance long-term operating-model improvements with hands-on execution and immediate business priorities.
Conditions
- Base salary range of $187,410–$210,000 per year, with actual compensation determined by factors such as geographic location, experience, education, training, and skills.
