Responsibilities
- Acting as a strategic partner to your leader: develop a deep understanding of leaders' priorities, challenges, and goals, anticipate needs, identify opportunities to improve effectiveness, and act as a trusted extension.
- Driving organisational effectiveness: create structure, improve communication flows, drive accountability, and ensure important initiatives move forward.
- Managing time, priorities, and focus: own complex calendars and competing priorities, proactively challenge, prioritise, make informed trade-offs, and make recommendations based on business context.
- Building strong relationships across Monzo: build trusted relationships, become a key point of connection, influence without formal authority, and ensure information flows effectively.
- Leading projects and initiatives: lead initiatives from concept to delivery, including leadership off-sites, engagement initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional projects.
- Enabling decision making: help leaders prepare for important meetings, decisions, and conversations with the right information and insights.
- Operating with judgement and discretion: handle sensitive information, exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality, and identify potential risks.
- Contributing beyond your immediate role: share best practices, mentor others, explore new technology, and help evolve the EA function.
Requirements
- Experience working as an Executive Assistant for Engineering or Technology Leaders in a fast-paced environment.
- Significant experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and make decisions, solve problems, and navigate competing priorities.
- Operate as a trusted partner, not just an administrator.
- Excellent judgement, strong communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Build strong relationships and influence effectively across all levels.
- Experience using relevant tools (not specified).
