Responsibilities
- Manage and report on cloud and AI-related expenses, maintaining forecast models that incorporate actual results, usage drivers, and business drivers.
- Execute recurring month-end close activities, including accruals, allocations, reconciliations, variance analysis, and close commentary.
- Support forecasting and annual planning cycles, and build or enhance financial models.
- Partner with engineering, product, procurement, accounting, and finance stakeholders.
- Access and analyze cloud billing information from provider consoles and billing exports, translating findings into clear narratives and recommendations.
- Use AI tools to automate and improve recurring analysis, reporting, and data preparation.
Requirements
- Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or finance business partnering, including vendor spend, forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear narratives and recommendations.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and communicate clearly in an asynchronous environment.
- Experience with cloud and AI vendor spend. Cloud cost management and FinOps experience preferred but not required.
Conditions
- Fully remote role (Canada or United States).
- United States Salary Range: $115,200 - $194,400 USD.
