Responsibilities
- Work with engineers across the company to build new features and products end-to-end
- Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from user experience, data models, scalability, operability and ongoing metrics.
- Provide technical leadership to team by driving roadmap direction, architectural design and mentorship
- Work side-by-side with user-facing teams (Sales, Support) to best understand the needs of our customers.
- Tune and polish features to a high degree of excellence.
- Identify and implement reliability and performance improvements
- Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the codebases, infrastructure, and processes you will encounter.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and deploying full-stack products
- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages (Java, Kotlin, Python)
- Experience architecting, building, and maintaining scalable, high-availability distributed systems
- Experience designing and optimizing SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, query performance tuning, and schema design
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services
- Experience with modern frontend technologies and tools like ES6+, React, TypeScript, and Webpack.
Conditions
- Hybrid work environment: minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
- Salary range: $192,000 - $240,000.
