Responsibilities
- Collaborate with most significant, complex enterprise customers to accelerate transformation across UK & Ireland.
- Work with Databricks UKI leadership to identify and engage select group of customers at executive level.
- Demonstrate builder culture by leveraging latest Data & AI technologies to inspire customer CTOs, VPs and senior leaders.
- Act as peer leader for Databricks UKI technical communities, establishing best practices and developing next generation of solutions architecture talent.
- Build authentic partnerships with stakeholders from developers to C-suite.
- Partner closely with Account Executives & UKI Leadership to design engagement strategies.
- Mentor wider practice on complex customer scenarios and executive engagement.
- Solution complex engagements involving cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP) and third-party tools.
- Lead executive engagement, create customer-facing content, and speak at industry events.
Requirements
- Experience influencing technology change at global-scale enterprise level, with focus on Data & AI strategy and implementation.
- Deep appreciation of customer and vendor commercial motivations and sales cycles.
- Understanding of key Data & AI technology market players, including major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and key ISVs.
- Builder mentality with bias towards showing rather than telling.
- Deep technical expertise in core data & AI technologies: languages (Python, SQL), frameworks (Apache Spark), platforms (Databricks).
- Ability to orchestrate diverse teams and explain complex tech to non-technical leaders.
- Travel required to customer sites in UK and London offices (approx. 20-30%).
