About the company
Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently looking for a Backend Developer on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at Eucon, for a new international team in Nashville, TN. Infopro Digital Automotive develops digital tools and software dedicated to the performance of decision-makers in the various sectors of the automotive aftermarket industry.
Responsibilities
- Greenfield development: design and develop new, largely data-driven applications for the American market.
- Build and evolve REST APIs and background services that move large volumes of market data, with an eye on performance, scalability and cost in the cloud.
- Model and query relational and non-relational stores, and keep read paths fast as data volumes grow.
- Ship your own work through CI/CD pipelines and take responsibility for what runs in production, working closely with the DevOps Team.
- Work closely with product managers in the US and international business users, as well as the Product Owner, development colleagues and QA in Germany.
- Work with your squad in an agile environment.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- Several years (3+) of professional backend development.
- Strong C# and modern .NET (8 or newer), ASP.NET Core web APIs, Entity Framework Core, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience running services in a public cloud, ideally Microsoft Azure, and comfort with Git-based workflows, code reviews and CI/CD.
- Enthusiasm for automated testing and clean code development, and an interest in using AI tooling well in day-to-day development.
- Fluent English communication with international colleagues.
- Affinity for agile processes and strong communication skills.
