About the team
The Global Payments Experiences group brings new and novel payment methods to Stripe and ensures systems work well for merchants globally.
Works with internal and external partners to expand regional, non-card payment options and payments processing globally.
Responsibilities
Design and reason about integration experiences with a strong focus on end-user simplicity and developer experience.
Build back-end services and integrations across Stripe's payments product.
Engage and interact with external partners to determine and build technical solutions.
Engage directly with users to understand business needs and translate requirements into concrete solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, partnerships, eng platforms, and other engineering teams.
Contribute to software platforms used across payments at Stripe.
Requirements
5+ years of full stack engineering experience.
Strong command of verbal and written English language.
Experience working across geographies.
Experience building extensible, leveraged software solutions that scale to different kinds of user needs, with the ability to empathize with users and advocate for exceptional user experiences.
Conditions
São Paulo-based team, with platform teams in the US and Europe and sister teams worldwide.
Focus on LATAM and North America payment methods.
Preferred: previous experience working in payments and on payments technology; previous experience using Stripe products.
