Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to software development teams in agile environments.
• Define, evaluate, and review software architectures and technical solutions for scalable, secure, maintainable web applications.
• Contribute to development and continuous evolution of web-based systems, combining hands-on coding with technical guidance.
• Mentor and support developers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and code reviews.
• Design, develop, and oversee APIs and microservices, ensuring effective integration.
• Promote DevOps and DevSecOps practices for automation, deployment efficiency, security, and delivery.
• Ensure adherence to best practices: code quality, application security, integration standards, testing.
• Facilitate technical decision-making and resolve complex development challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or postgraduate IT qualification recognized by MEC).
• Solid experience in web application development and proven technical leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and web-based applications.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
• Practical experience designing and integrating SOAP and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, integration patterns, and distributed application design.
• Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of object storage and unstructured data solutions such as MinIO or S3-compatible storage.
• Experience leading technical activities within agile teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style with commitment to mentoring and continuous improvement.
