Marketing Virtual Assistant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Virtual Assistant: Production & AI Operations based in Canada.

• Produce and prepare long-form podcast and YouTube content using established workflows, including video cleanup, transcript correction, captions, formatting, branding, uploads, publishing, and file organization.
• Review AI-generated transcripts and content carefully, correcting spelling, names, terminology, subtitles, formatting issues, and other inaccuracies before publication.
• Create short-form videos using AI-assisted tools, review recommended clips for context and quality, apply approved branding, and prepare assets for Reels, Shorts, Stories, and other channels.
• Produce recurring Canva graphics and Stories from approved templates, ensuring accurate text, images, dates, names, locations, formatting, alignment, and visual consistency.
• Support social media scheduling through Metricool and native platforms, verifying accounts, captions, links, tags, locations, dates, times, and creative assets before publishing.
• Upload approved Google Business Profile content and photographs, verify links and location information, and maintain accurate completion records.
• Manage production tasks in ClickUp by following linked SOPs and checklists, updating statuses, attaching final deliverables, and flagging blockers before deadlines.
• Maintain organized Google Drive and digital asset structures using established folder hierarchies and naming conventions.
• Use AI-powered production and productivity tools to improve efficiency while maintaining appropriate human oversight and quality control.
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information, technical problems, branding issues, or other exceptions and escalate them when they could affect deadlines, clients, or reputation.
• Continuously learn new platforms and workflows and progressively take ownership of additional production responsibilities as proficiency and trust increase.

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing production, content production, video editing, social media, virtual assistance, or a related field.
• Excellent written English and strong communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients, accounts, projects, and deadlines.
• Comfortable following detailed SOPs, checklists, templates, prompts, and established workflows consistently.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new software and AI-powered platforms.
• Hands-on familiarity with tools such as Canva/Canva Pro, Descript, OpusClip or similar AI video tools, ChatGPT, Claude, ClickUp, Google Workspace, Google Drive, YouTube, Metricool, and Google Business Profile.
• Basic video editing and social media publishing skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote and asynchronous environment while knowing when to ask questions or escalate genuine issues.
• Reliable computer and internet connection and availability for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position.
• Genuine interest in a long-term role with increasing responsibility and ownership.
• Experience with podcast production, YouTube, Reels, TikTok, Shorts, AI-assisted content creation, digital marketing agencies, or multi-client environments is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Buzzsprout, Localo, Dropbox, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, or other AI-assisted marketing tools is a plus.
• A proactive, dependable, quality-focused mindset with the ability to receive feedback, learn from repetition, and become increasingly independent.

• Full-time, 40-hour-per-week remote position.
