Responsibilities

• Guide technical delivery, establish development standards, ensure quality and reliability of Business Central solutions
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation plans
• Develop technical designs and architecture documentation
• Lead architectural discussions on customizations, extensions, integrations, scalability, performance
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Business Central extensions using AL
• Act as technical escalation point and provide hands-on troubleshooting
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues
• Improve development methodologies, source control, environment management, testing, deployment
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows

Requirements

• At least 5 years developing Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central solutions
• Extensive hands-on experience with Business Central extensions using AL
• Strong understanding of General Ledger, Financial Management, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Supply Chain
• Experience leading technical design discussions and gathering requirements
• Knowledge of Business Central APIs, web services, integration patterns
• Software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, architecture, performance, secure coding
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code
• Ability to mentor developers and conduct code reviews

Conditions

• Annual base salary $120,000 to $160,000 depending on qualifications and experience
