Responsibilities
- Partnering with stakeholders across the Compliance function covering all regions, products and domains of the business (including Financial Crime, Ops, Risk, Finance and IT)
- Taking ownership of the engagement model between analytics and Compliance for delivering regulatory reporting and moving towards building automated pipelines for recurring reports
- Identifying & implementing opportunities to do the most impactful analytics within testing projects and influencing and upskilling your partners in Compliance to do the same
- Defining and tracking KPIs to measure the team’s success and impact
- Championing innovation and data-driven insights across all Compliance activities where analytics can add value
- Leading automation and tooling projects to increase efficiency across Compliance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics
- 2+ years of experience building, coaching and leading analysts
- Advanced stakeholder management skills; you know how to leverage multiple different teams to deliver high-impact change
- Extensive experience using SQL; you can build and maintain complex data sources and can leverage visualisation tools (Looker, Superset, etc) to surface insights
- You have built reporting outputs, creating advanced SQL scripts based on requirements communicated by stakeholders
- Experience using data engineering tools (GitHub, dbt, Airflow etc.) to transform messy data into clean and efficient pipelines and you know how to produce comprehensive data documentation
- You understand the importance of data integrity, quality & governance. You know how to produce comprehensive data documentation
- Meticulous & disciplined approach towards accuracy of data outputs
- You are able to prioritise your own and your team’s work and independently manage competing priorities
- You can contribute your own ideas to influence the team’s strategic roadmap
