About the company

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain custom applications and integrations that work alongside Brightspace
  • Contribute to improving team QA practices and explore approaches to ensuring quality across projects
  • Work with the latest technologies to build highly scalable and fault tolerant systems
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, not graduating prior to this co-op role (preference for official co-op programs)
  • Able to work 40 hours per week
  • Able to work in-person from a D2L office
  • Currently a candidate for Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, preferably a co-op program
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive, enthusiastic and dedicated mindset
  • Ability to think on your feet and work both independently and in teams
Technologies
  • Languages: JavaScript, Node.js, Python
  • Frontend: Modern JavaScript frameworks and Lit components
  • Other: APIs, integrations, cloud-based services (e.g., AWS)
  • Backend stack: .NET, AWS (Node.js, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Lambda)
  • Mobile: Kotlin and Swift
