This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Manager based in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy: Define, communicate, and champion the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for onboarding and compliance products supporting communications services.
- Translate business needs into products: Gather and develop business requirements and work closely with Engineering to translate them into clear user stories, product requirements, and actionable deliverables.
- Lead product development: Partner with Design, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout product planning, discovery, execution, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Drive customer experience: Create streamlined, intuitive onboarding journeys that reduce friction while maintaining strong compliance with telecommunications and regional regulatory requirements.
- Manage product roadmaps: Prioritize initiatives based on customer needs, business objectives, regulatory requirements, technical considerations, and measurable impact.
- Build organizational alignment: Develop executive and stakeholder buy-in around product direction, communicate priorities clearly, and generate enthusiasm for strategic initiatives.
- Lead launches and adoption: Partner with GTM teams to launch products effectively and enable Sales and Marketing teams to drive customer adoption and sustainable growth.
- Measure outcomes: Conduct regular data-driven business reviews, evaluating product execution, adoption, revenue, market performance, and other defined success metrics.
- Make evidence-based decisions: Combine quantitative and qualitative insights to identify opportunities, assess trade-offs, and guide product decisions.
- Navigate ambiguity: Decode vague or competing priorities, manage conflicting inputs, identify risks, and drive initiatives forward despite complex or evolving requirements.
- Influence without authority: Build strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams and effectively influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Connect technology and experience: Balance technical architecture, APIs, cloud infrastructure, user experience, compliance, and broader business objectives when making product decisions.
Requirements
- Product leadership experience: 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, or similarly complex technology environments.
- Strategic track record: Demonstrated success defining product strategies, leading significant product launches, and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Analytical capability: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to turn data and customer insights into product decisions and compelling business cases.
- Stakeholder influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, secure executive buy-in, and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Technical depth: Strong understanding of technology, cloud platforms, APIs, enterprise software, and modern product development, with the ability to engage deeply in technical discussions while maintaining a strategic perspective.
- Customer experience: Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to translate complex technical or regulatory requirements into intuitive customer experiences.
- Ownership and initiative: Proven ability to take ownership, navigate ambiguity, resolve competing priorities, and independently drive complex initiatives from concept through delivery.
- Industry experience: Experience working with cloud technologies, APIs, communications platforms, and/or enterprise software.
- Regulated environments: Experience working in a regulated ecosystem is desirable, particularly where product experiences must balance customer accessibility with compliance requirements.
- Developer products: Experience building products or services related to APIs and developer experience is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a globally distributed, remote-first organization and occasionally travel for team or project meetings.
- Location: Candidates must be based in Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta, Canada.

- Competitive compensation: Estimated salary range of CAD $145,840–$182,300 for candidates based in British Columbia.
