Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the SAR Spacecraft Harness Design Team
- Interpret team OKRs and delegate tasks to achieve domain goals
- Mentor and support professional development of team members
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Define processes and ways of working with stakeholders
- Hire new team members
- Report progress, risks, and key metrics to upper management and program stakeholders
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Proven track record in team leadership or technical lead roles
- 8+ years of experience in design and development of electrical harnesses for complex systems (spacecraft, aircraft, automotive, or marine)
- Knowledge of manufacturing, integration, testing, and qualification of electrical harnesses
- Familiarity with standards such as ECSS-Q-ST-20, IPC/WHMA-A-620, SAE ARP1870, NASA-STD-8739
- Nice to have: experience with CATIA, NX, CAPITAL design tools
- Nice to have: experience with PLM or PDM systems for configuration control
- Nice to have: aerospace industry experience
