Responsibilities
- Own and drive net-new and expansion sales cycles across named frontier AI organizations, engaging AI research, product, technical, and executive stakeholders.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and establish credibility as a strategic advisor within the AI ecosystem.
- Identify customer workflows, business challenges, and emerging opportunities, positioning human-generated data solutions for model training, evaluation, and experience design.
- Map complex enterprise buying groups, multi-thread relationships, identify internal champions, and proactively mitigate risks throughout the sales cycle.
- Partner with Services, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product Marketing, Product, and Executive Leadership to develop proposals, pilots, commercial strategies, and post-sale success plans.
- Manage highly complex enterprise sales processes with disciplined discovery, qualification, value-based selling, forecasting, and deal execution.
- Maintain rigorous visibility into pipeline performance, deal health, sales activity, and forecasts, communicating progress and risks clearly to sales leadership.
- Serve as the voice of strategic customers by bringing market intelligence, customer feedback, and emerging needs to product, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Collaborate with customers across the Western United States, including in-person meetings, customer campuses, industry events, conferences, and occasional travel to other offices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in full-cycle strategic B2B technology sales, with a strong track record of delivering complex enterprise outcomes.
- Deep expertise in the AI industry and established credibility with frontier AI research, product, technical, and executive stakeholders.
- Proven experience selling directly into frontier AI labs is essential, with a demonstrated history of winning and expanding strategic accounts.
- Consistent success managing highly complex technical sales cycles involving seven-figure and eight-figure commercial outcomes.
- Strong understanding of enterprise buying processes, particularly across AI Research, Product, Technical Program Management, and other technical functions.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML trends and concepts, including reinforcement learning from human feedback, user-in-the-loop evaluation, and human-centered product design.
- Demonstrated ability to run multi-threaded enterprise deals involving product leaders, researchers, research operations, legal and procurement teams, and technical buyers.
- Excellent discovery, qualification, negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills, combined with a consultative and value-based sales approach.
- Ability to earn trust and credibility with highly technical AI pioneers while translating complex customer needs into compelling business solutions.
- High empathy, accountability, curiosity, and resilience, with a strong ability to collaborate across Customer Success, Services, Marketing, Product, and Executive teams.
- Experience working directly with AI researchers or selling solutions to frontier AI organizations is highly relevant and expected.
